It has always amazed me too, the nexus between East and West, the crossroads of civilizations...
yes. yes. it amazes me that is has been that nexus for so long. it still very much is to the turkish. turkey hoped it could be that bridge again for the rest of us. attempting to get into the european union. doesnt look like its going to happen.
i just finished "the librarian" which is about the hunt for Vlad Tepes. There is a good portion of the book set in Istanbul. Very nice picture. Thank you for sharing! Cheers, p
