yes. yes. it amazes me that is has been that nexus for so long. it still very much is to the turkish. turkey hoped it could be that bridge again for the rest of us. attempting to get into the european union. doesnt look like its going to happen.

i just finished "the librarian" which is about the hunt for Vlad Tepes. There is a good portion of the book set in Istanbul. Very nice picture. Thank you for sharing! Cheers, p

If you are still in town, you must go to Taksim Square, where all the live music and (and in) restaurants are. Istanbul needs bass players - you just have to play fretless to get those microtones. oh, and Peter Murphy's there, but you know that . . .
