ive been pathetically uninspired for over a week now. nothing worth posting. but i am looking forward to getting out town tomorrow. my wife belle and i are going to a friends house on a cliff. he has lent us his house three out of the last four years. my wife and i hibernate from christmas through new years. recharge the batteries. its become our yearly ritual of replenishment. so anyone within earshot, i hope you all get some good time away from whatever makes the grind part of your daily grind. paradise is not wired for the net so i will not be here until 2007. peace in wartime.

Eric,

May you and your wife have a restful, rejuvenating, and creative time away from it all in the house on the cliff. I look forward to your checking back in @ the blogosphere in 2007.

Bush has kept delaying his revised strategy (or, "strategery," as he calls it), and we won't hear it until January.

Bono has achieved knighthood; as he croons in one of his songs, "No one cries/Like a mother cries/For peace on Earth." Here are rest of lyrics.

EA, I wish you guys a good rest through the holidays and hope you enjoy your quality time together. Hoping to see you check back in next year. I truly love your blog, I hope it's as rewarding for you as it is for us. I also want to wish everyone else here happy holidays! Peace out!

Hey Eric,

As I posted yesterday to your last blog, a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your wife and your family! Hope you have a great time resting at the house up on the cliff! Talk to you in '07!

All the best, Matt, Gina and Avery (and of course from our little four legged canine, Baci)

Certainly; happy holidays to all.

Be well,

just found your blog. Just wanted to say I have always thought the creativity behind Jane's Addiction was you. It is apparent on Deconstruction. It is also apparent on the lack of creativity on Jane's Addiction without you in it. Just my opinion. Good luck to you.

I agree with the above comment. A happy 2007 to you and yours!

Hey Eric,

Good to find you here. I just found out about your blog here from the MySpace related post.

I agree that replenishing your energy is very important from time to time and who better to do it with if not yourself, then the one you love. Enjoy!

I really dig your artwork and I'd like to collaborate with you in the new year. I'm based in the SF Bay Area now but also travel south periodically to see friends and my former art institute so if you are interested drop me a line (from my website).

Hope that 2007 brings a fresh vision to your work and happiness within.

Cheers, David
